“ Care for some boba with your Blintz? I would've never known about this place, unless for the check-in from my bud, Gerry. Located inside Quest Learning Center & formerly Quest Café, Blintz Café is a casual eatery serving tea, coffee & Taiwanese fusion dishes. The main entrance is on the Elaine Ave. side, with an alternate entrance through the Quest Learning Center main doors. 6 dedicated parking stalls located in the Quest parking lot. Lunch specials have 2 price points - $4.95 & $5.95 (including vegetarian). They include rice or fries & salad. Soda or iced tea is an additional $1 & flavored tea is an additional $2. Upon asking what's recommended & being informed their limited time only ramen wasn't available, I was led to their popcorn chicken ($4.95) After a request for spicy & a few minutes of wait, lunch was on. The popcorn chicken had an extra crispy coating which I enjoyed. I'm a texture guy. I like crunchy dill pickles. I like slices of raw onion. And, I particularly prefer the crunchy exterior on each piece of popcorn chicken here at Blintz Cafe. The portion was great. Rice & salad completed the meal. Besides the usual suspects, such as Taiwanese sausage & fish balls, Blintz offers more pedestrian items, like hot wings & their Crazy Fries (cheddar cheese, mozzarella, bacon creamy cheese, mudded & pizza pepperoni). Drink sizes come in regular, large &, if you're willing to accept, "The Challenge" size ($5.75). Polishing off "The Challenge" size will earn a Polaroid pic of yourself on Blintz Cafe's wall. I dunno about you, but I can probably polish off about 10 of them in a span of 2 mins & 38 secs, completely annihilating "The Challenge", raising the bar to an unheard of height where none shall dare attempt to try. However, I'll be humble and let the past challengers keep their moment of fame ;p Service was good, if a little slow. Only 1 person taking orders & completing said orders. I was fortunate to arrive with only 1 person ahead of me. Sufficient seating with high stools by the register & tables behind the dividing wall. Because this is a Learning Center, with academic, dance & exercise classes daily, I would advise not to come by when classes end. The cafe would probably be reminiscent of a Chuck E. Cheese, with noisy kids, tweeners & teenagers, which is a situation I'd like to avoid at all costs. I'm starting to have a headache just thinking about it ;p With cheap lunch specials & cold drinks to satisfy the sweet tooth, I found Blintz Café to be a great local spot to grab some quick, satisfying eats for not a lot of scratch. I know when I want to get my lunch on, I can rely on Blintz Café to get the job done. Highly recommend! NOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOMNOM . ”

Dan Russell

“ I absolutely love their daily dinner specials. On the weekdays when I come home from late from work so I have no time to cook, luckily they have a deal of 3 meals for only $19.60. The amount they give is large enough to fill my family of four. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a Taiwanese/Japanese restaurant. ”
